With programs like this, the web, or rather the browser will replace the desktop OS. This is why Microsoft tried to kill Netscape.
Apple is gaining some market share right now because they figured out that people only do a few things on their computer and if you integrate it together well, people will buy your computer. Once all your photos, music, videos, contacts, blogs, etc. are on the web as SaaS, whoever integrates that all together in a browser or portal will be huge.
